ANN FIERENS about the Louvet harp and an early Erard that I have restored for her::
"... Never I received that many compliments on my harp and my playing as with the Louvet. The Erard also draws a lot of attention, and makes me receive compliments but it doesn't even come near to the Louvet. Perhaps it is its fragility that moves poeple more easily, or perhaps it was just Italian enthusiasm. Who knows, but they still write me about it !“
ANDREW LAWRENCE-KING
made his pedal harp debut playing a Louis XVI-harp made by Beat Wolf. He toured with flautist Laurie Dean for a couple of concerts, then recording a CD titled „Amor ist mein Lied"
MASUMI NAGASAWA:
“ ... and send you these photos. Your harps look like living creatures don’t they? Like escargots! I really love them and I love the one you have made for me.“
DAVID WATKINS after playing a concert on the Louis XVI single-action pedal harp:
„...it was magnificent at the concert and I really enjoyed playing it. Beautiful craftsmanship and a really lovely sound !"
NAOKO YOSHINO after recording the “Mozart” with Nikolaus Harnoncourt:
“And I really fell in love with your harp!! It has such a special sound with so many subtle colors and variety of expressions. Not only me, but everyone – the Harnoncourts, orchestra and Teldec-staff – had the same feeling."
